BetMGM Launches Campaign with Jamie Foxx for 2023 Football Season


BetMGM, an established sports betting and iGaming operator, is set to release its new advertising series featuring Jamie Foxx, coinciding with the commencement of the professional football season. This series, filmed in Las Vegas, was directed by Wayne McClammy and is slated to air nationally during the season’s opening weekend across various platforms.

In the first advertisement, titled “Doing it Live,” Foxx is seen playing the piano at the NoMad Library within Park MGM. The spot showcases athletes from diverse sports emphasizing the live sports betting experience offered by BetMGM.

The subsequent segment, titled “The Game,” shows Foxx navigating Park MGM, exploring the extensive betting options on the BetMGM app. This visual journey sees Foxx leaving the Dolby Live Theater at Park MGM and approaching a BetMGM-themed race car at ARIA’s valet, hinting at an upcoming race on the Las Vegas Strip. The segment also features a brief appearance by BetMGM ambassador, Wayne Gretzky.

The advertisements highlight BetMGM’s promotional offer for the season, providing new users the chance to place a bet of up to $1,500, with a return in bonus bets if the wager doesn’t win. The campaign will be disseminated across multiple channels, including broadcast, digital, and social media. Moreover, BetMGM ambassadors are set to promote the content on their personal platforms, integrating their perspectives into the sports betting discourse.

Currently, BetMGM operates in 26 North American markets with plans for further expansion. A commitment to responsible sports betting remains a priority, exemplified by its association with GameSense, an initiative developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and licensed to MGM Resorts. Through this collaboration, BetMGM offers its customers access to essential responsible gambling resources across its platforms, ensuring a safe and engaging sports betting experience.
