BetMGM, a prominent iGaming and sports betting operator, was honoured as Sports Betting Operator of the Year and Employer of the Year at the EGR North America Awards 2024, held in New York City on June 27.
The Sports Betting Operator of the Year award recognized BetMGM for its innovation, high-quality player experience, and significant growth. The company was lauded for strategic partnerships with brands like X and Marriott Bonvoy, and leveraging its unique omnichannel presence in Las Vegas during Super Bowl LVIII. The acquisition of Angstrom, a sports pricing and analytics firm, further enhanced BetMGM’s betting library, enriching the customer experience.
BetMGM was also named Employer of the Year for its commitment to organizational excellence, investment in employee development, and fostering an inclusive work environment. Recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in New York by Great Place To Work® and Fortune, BetMGM emphasizes transparency, communication, and employee engagement through initiatives like weekly virtual forums and active resource groups. The company enhanced its onboarding process, training programs, diversity and inclusion efforts, and career development initiatives in 2023.
This marks the first time BetMGM has received EGR North America Awards for both categories, adding to its previous wins as Casino Operator of the Year in 2022 and 2023.
