Innovative games provider ESA Gaming has entered the Portuguese market for the first time after signing a deal to provide its EasySwipe titles to leading local operator Casino Portugal.
Casino Portugal’s customers will soon be able to play ESA’s EasySwipe games, including best performing title Fruit Staxx. Players will later gain access to ESA’s upcoming titles with several releases scheduled for the year.
Casino Portugal is a leading operator in the country and offers sports betting and online casino games through a pioneering proprietary national platform. The company has a land-based history and launched its online brand as the Portuguese market opened in 2016.
Online gaming revenue in Portugal increased by 58% during the fourth quarter of 2020 with online slots accounting for 71% of gameplay. Fifteen operators have licences to offer both online gaming and sports betting in the country.
