Abios, a division of the Kambi Group, has teamed up with Rei do Pitaco (RDP), a prominent Brazilian daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator, to enhance its fantasy esoccer product. This collaboration underscores Kambi’s modularisation strategy, showcasing its ability to empower operators with tailored solutions.
RDP, established in 2019, has swiftly emerged as Brazil’s premier DFS operator, boasting over 17 million app downloads. Through this partnership, RDP will integrate Abios’ esoccer streams, probabilities, and widgets into its platform, enriching the gaming experience for its extensive customer base across the nation.
Abios’ esoccer product offers comprehensive coverage, spanning more than 11,000 matches monthly. It leverages real-time data sourced from leading rights holders, supported by automated modelling supervised by seasoned professionals. Since its integration into the Kambi network in November 2023, Abios’ esoccer product has consistently ranked among the top leagues by the volume of bets placed.
This modular service agreement signifies an expansion of the collaboration between Kambi and RDP. In addition to enhancing RDP’s fantasy esoccer offering, the partnership lays the groundwork for RDP to leverage Kambi’s technology for sports betting expansion in Brazil, pending regulatory approval.
Anton Janér, Managing Director at Abios, said: “We are delighted to have signed this long-term partnership with Rei do Pitaco to power fantasy esoccer for millions of players across Brazil, providing 24/7 content that perfectly complements their existing DFS offer. Rei do Pitaco’s passion for providing customers with engaging, cutting-edge products mirrors our own, and we are excited to be working closely with them to deliver next-generation esports experiences.”
Kiko Augusto, COO and Co-founder at Rei do Pitaco, said: “We are pleased to be expanding our relationship with the Kambi Group through this partnership with Abios. We are always looking to enhance the range of products we offer to our customers, and integrating Abios’ market-leading esoccer product is a move which makes complete sense.”
