Rivalry’s Mobile Esports Betting Application Debuts In Ontario

In a major move, Rivalry Corp., a globally regulated iGaming and Media firm, is pleased to introduce its mobile application in Canada’s booming Ontario online market.

The new offering facilitates seamless access for residents in Canada’s most populous province (40 million people), enabling bets on a wide assortment of esports and traditional sports on Rivalry’s advanced gaming platform.

The Rivalry mobile app comes equipped with Ontario’s most exhaustive esports betting portfolio, encompassing widely recognised games, such as: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and Dota 2.

Top mobile titles, notably Call of Duty: Mobile, Free Fire and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, are also available.

Users, moreover, have the option to place wagers on an array of conventional sports, encompassing football, soccer, basketball, and more.

The introduction of Rivalry’s mobile app coincides with a marked upswing in esports betting in Ontario.

Since obtaining its operational license in the province in April 2022, Rivalry has witnessed an average month-over-month growth of 15 percent in esports betting.

The company anticipates that the mobile app will stimulate further growth in player acquisition and engagement, especially amongst its core demographic — namely Millennial and Gen Z bettors.

This group represents 97 percent of Rivalry’s active users. And this development is expected to strengthen Rivalry’s standing as a global frontrunner in esports betting engagement.

“Mobile betting is a significant addition for our Ontario operations and core audience of Millennial and Gen Z consumers, who prefer the flexibility of betting on their phones,” said Steven Salz, Rivalry Co-founder and CEO.

“Launching a mobile app adds an important layer of accessibility to our product, increasing our addressable market in Ontario and allows us to bring esports betting to more customers in the region, and ultimately grow the category.”

“We are engaging a demographic with unique consumption habits and betting preferences,” Salz continued.

“This is a generation that expects more from the products, entertainment and brands they consume.

“We’ve customised our online betting experience to match that. Our differentiated user experience continues to act as a catalyst for our company, and we’re excited to bring this offering to the palm of our customers’ hands.”
