This WOW Vegas United States availability list comes from their Help Center, updated in the last week of May 2026.

As of June 2026, promotional contests are available in 37 US states and unavailable in 10. Registration is also unavailable in another three US states.

You can play at WOW Vegas Casino in the states marked Yes in the table below. States marked No mean you can’t play from those locations at all, while states marked Limited are states that don’t allow promotional contests. 

The minimum age to use WOW Vegas Casino is 18 years old, and if your state sets a higher age of majority (the age at which a person is considered an adult), that higher age applies. These include the states of Alabama (19), Nebraska (19), and Mississippi (21). 

How is WOW Vegas Legal in My State?

The state also moved forward with SB 2136 in May 2026, which targets online sweepstakes games that use virtual- or multi-currency systems.

Illinois

Illinois has also taken action against some online sweepstakes casinos, with the gaming board issuing a cease-and-desist letter to WOW Vegas in February 2026. 

The board accused WOW Vegas Casino of offering online casino-style games to people in Illinois without the right state license, which is why it told the casino to block Illinois residents or stop offering prizes through its services. 

Louisiana

Louisiana is another important example because its 2026 law directly targets dual-currency online games. 

In May 2026, the Louisiana Governor signed HB 883 as Act 182. This law states that an online game, contest, or promotion can count as gambling by computer if it uses a dual-currency system and lets players exchange that currency for prizes or a chance at rewards. 

The Louisiana Gaming Control Board also lists WOW Vegas as one of the operators that received a cease-and-desist letter. 

Can I Use a VPN to Play at WOW Vegas?

You shouldn’t use a VPN or similar tool to play at WOW Vegas if you’re in a restricted state. 

To track your location and see if you’re in an eligible state, WOW Vegas checks your IP address while you’re using the site. A VPN might hide this, but WOW Vegas Casino can still check your account details, ID, address, and payment methods, especially if you try to redeem prizes. WOW Vegas State-Specific Redemption Rules

WOW Vegas doesn’t list a separate SC redemption cap for every state, but some state sweepstakes rules can still affect prize promotions. In most cases, these rules place extra duties on the operator rather than changing what you do as a player. 

For example: 

• Florida: Game promotions with a total prize value above $5,000 usually need to be filed with the state, and operators may also need a trust account or surety bond to cover the prizes. 
• New York: Similar filing rules can apply to some chance-based promotions above $5,000, but WOW Vegas already excludes New York for SC promotional play.
