The Football Pools Inks Strategic UK Deal with GiG


Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has finalized a long-term agreement to support The Football Pools (The Pools), a renowned name in UK pools betting, with its innovative sportsbook, SportX, and iGaming platform, CoreX. This partnership marks a significant milestone as The Pools transitions to GiG’s advanced technology to enhance its online presence and drive digital growth.

This deal is particularly notable for GiG as it represents the introduction of its X-Suite solutions into the UK market. GiG has already demonstrated its capability in fostering growth for partners in other regulated markets globally.

Launched in February, GiG’s X-Suite solutions, including SportX, offer an integrated and comprehensive sports betting experience tailored to boost growth for UK operators. Recent collaborations with BetMakers for HorseRacing and Sportcast for bet-builder, combined with a rich content roadmap, ensure a feature-rich and advanced offering.

The Football Pools, a historic brand with over 100 years of operation in the UK, is recognized for its accumulator bets predicting professional football match outcomes. The new agreement will enhance The Pools’ sports betting, casino, and lotto offerings, providing customers with access to more jackpot prizes and an improved overall experience.

This partnership between GiG’s turnkey solutions and The Pools’ brand is set to create a unique market offering. As part of a strategic refresh, this deal underscores GiG’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions.

The UK online gaming market is one of the largest regulated markets globally, with an estimated revenue of £11.01 billion (€12.80 billion), second only to the US, according to Statista.
