The Gaming Boardroom Launches

Gambling industry executives now have a powerful new tool to help improve performance thanks to The Gaming Boardroom (TGB). The brainchild of Kate Chambers, TGB brings together business resources, in-person and online events, online community and much more into one incredible, membership-based package.

A one-stop resource that combines Learning & Development, peer networking, broad business intelligence, horizon scanning, plus bespoke reports and content alongside what promises to be the industry’s most tightly focussed events programme, TGB is a new way of delivering crucial information for you and your business to excel.

Kate said of the launch: “We have been working on this for over a year, refining the product to deliver what the industry’s executives need to perform optimally. I’m excited to see how the industry engages with The Gaming Boardroom and how we can evolve the product in the future to create an even more invaluable resource.

“We believe using the Boardroom will save both time and money for executives, and our events programme will help them deliver intelligence and best practise to middle management in a cost- and time-effective way.”

Industry stalwart Tom Nieman has been watching the project grow and is convinced it’s a winner. Tom said: “It’s pretty rare to say something is really fresh and exciting, but I believe that this is exactly that. The Gaming Boardroom is a combination of resources that our industry just doesn’t have right now, and combined with the events program it promises to become something really special.”

Visitors to www.thegamingboardroom.com can sign up in one of three membership tiers: Associate, Executive, and Partner. Each tier has different site access, with Executive and Partner level members enjoying access to online events furthering best practice and knowledge, plus exclusive live events. And all members receive the popular daily global gaming roundup, which brings the top content from our industry’s best news sources.

The first online event is scheduled for mid-March and tackles Responsible Gambling, with a stellar line-up of experts and a fresh, exciting new approach to programme content.

The Gaming Boardroom launches under the Fulwood Media banner, which is Kate’s post-Clarion project; Kate is Managing Director of the business.

Former Clarion colleague Greg Saint has been a key part of building the project with Kate; Greg is named Commercial Director of Fulwood Media. Greg explained: “Kate and I have worked together for many years, not least building the ICE brand and event. It’s a real pleasure to continue that relationship and to bring the industry something genuinely new and exciting.”

Rounding out the management team is Publishing Director Jon Bruford, who takes his post following 17 years as Managing Editor of Casino International magazine, and co-host of industry podcast The Gambling Files.
