The Unit and Red Knot Communications Announce Strategic Alliance

The Unit, a nearshore product development and marketing services provider for sports betting and igaming, has entered into a strategic alliance with Red Knot Communications, a PR and communications specialist in the sports betting, igaming, and general sports industries.

Through this partnership, both companies will collaborate on various areas, including PR and communications, branding, PPC, SEO, paid social, and martech solutions. The aim is to enhance The Unit’s full-service marketing capabilities by leveraging Red Knot’s expertise in PR and media, particularly in regions like the US, Canada, and Latin America.

Founded in 2020, Red Knot operates globally with offices in the US, UK, Latin America, and the UAE. The company has worked with notable media outlets and has helped raise the profile of diverse entities, including emerging sports leagues such as Major League Pickleball and Major League Cricket. Red Knot also serves sports betting and gaming companies like 1st Technology, Angstrom Sports, and PlayStar, as well as affiliate giants such as Spotlight Sports Group and Playmaker Capital.

The strategic alliance will see Mark O’Hare expand his responsibilities as Head of Business Development across both Red Knot and The Unit. Mark brings extensive experience in the betting and gaming sector and has been an asset to The Unit since joining in 2018. His expertise in SEO and PPC strategy and execution has benefited key client accounts, including Pala Interactive, NorthStar Bets, and VIP Casino in Canada, LulaBet and PalaceBet in South Africa, Monkey Knife Fight and PlayStar Casino in the US, and BetRegal and Slotbox in Ireland.
