Altenar Secures Brazil Certification for Virtual Sports

Altenar has strengthened its presence in the Latin American igaming market by securing certification to offer sportsbook and Remote Gaming Server (RGS) solutions, including virtual sports, in Brazil.

This regulatory approval marks a key step in the company’s regional expansion and reinforces its focus on delivering compliant, localised sportsbook content in newly regulated jurisdictions. The certification follows a series of strategic integrations with major virtual sports providers, including Inspired, Kiron, Leap and Sportradar.

To obtain approval, Altenar underwent a detailed evaluation of its platform and services, demonstrating its ability to meet Brazil’s operational and technical requirements. The addition of virtual sports content provides operators with an always-available betting vertical, designed to enhance engagement and offer players an alternative to traditional live sports betting.

The move reflects Altenar’s ongoing investment in Latin America’s evolving igaming landscape, with Brazil emerging as a priority market for growth.

Dinos Doxiadis, Director of Product – Sportsbook and Data at Altenar, said: “We are thrilled to achieve certification for virtual sports in Brazil. This marks another significant step in our growth across Latin America and reinforces our commitment to the burgeoning region.

“By joining forces with some of the industry’s most renowned providers, we are confident in our ability to deliver an unparalleled virtual sports experience to operators and players in Brazil. This offering will complement our existing sportsbook solutions and provide further opportunities for engagement and growth in this key market.”
