Bally’s Corporation has announced its vision for Bally’s Las Vegas, a new integrated resort to be developed on the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas. The project, which is being submitted for entitlements to Clark County, is expected to begin development in the first half of 2026.
The planned resort will sit on a 35-acre campus alongside the new Las Vegas Athletics Major League Baseball ballpark. The development will include two hotel towers with a combined 3,000 rooms, a casino, a 2,500-seat entertainment venue, and more than 500,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment space. A VIP experience with direct access to the ballpark is also part of the design.
Marnell Architecture has been named architect of record, while JLL will manage retail and dining sourcing. The resort is expected to feature a mix of international and local brands, with Michael Hirschfeld, Vice Chairman at JLL, leading the leasing team.
The project aims to position Bally’s Las Vegas as both a global tourism destination and a hub for baseball fans, combining professional sports with large-scale hospitality and entertainment.
“Bally’s Las Vegas represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine the heart of the Strip,” said Soo Kim, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Bally’s Corporation. “With world-class partners like JLL and Marnell, and with the arrival of Major League Baseball, we are not just building an integrated resort. We are creating a landmark destination that unites sports, entertainment, dining and hospitality on a scale only Las Vegas can deliver.”
“Las Vegas is one of the most important markets for food and beverage, entertainment and retail in the US,” said Hirschfeld. “The extended hours of operation in the market yield some of the highest sales per unit in the country.”
