BetMakers Integrates Spotlight Sports Group’s Smart View

Spotlight Sports Group (SSG) has entered into a multi-year partnership with BetMakers Technology Group to distribute its Smart View product across global igaming markets. The agreement enables BetMakers to offer Smart View via its CoreAPI to sportsbook operators worldwide, enhancing the user experience of digital racing products.

Smart View, developed by SSG, is designed to modernise the traditional racecard, using data visualisation inspired by mainstream sports video games. The interface provides real-time updates based on track conditions and is built on data from Racing Post, combined with insights from SSG’s data science and editorial teams.

The partnership enables immediate access for BetMakers’ sportsbook partners to Smart View, with distribution already underway in key markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, South Africa, the UAE, Australia, and New Zealand. This collaboration represents a strategic step forward for both companies as they continue to innovate in the racing vertical of the igaming industry.

Sam Houlding, Managing Director B2B for Spotlight Sports Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are delighted to partner with one of the leading global racing technology providers to bring our revolutionary Smart View product to their audience. There is tons of positive momentum behind Smart View, and the fact that we can deliver this for all of the major global racing territories was a big factor in getting this agreed.”

Joey Carroll, Director of Business Development and Partnerships APAC at BetMakers, added: “We’re thrilled to be able to offer our suite of digital customers this new and innovative product from Spotlight. Not only does it have an excellent UI/UX, but it is underpinned by strong data and is receiving positive feedback from punters within the market place. We can’t wait to see the impact it has on attracting a new audience to racing and ultimately increasing turnover for our partners globally.”
