BetMGM has expanded its igaming poker network by merging its Pennsylvania player pool with existing networks in New Jersey and Michigan, enabling cross-state liquidity across three key regulated markets. The integration, which went live on April 28, marks a major step forward for the operator’s poker platform and is expected to deliver the largest tournament prize pools in BetMGM Poker’s history.
This development follows regulatory frameworks allowing multistate poker agreements, enhancing liquidity and player experience. The move positions BetMGM to host more frequent games, larger guaranteed prize events, and increased tournament variety across its platforms in all three states.
To mark the launch, BetMGM is rolling out several promotional events. These include a no-buy-in, $35,000 guaranteed “C-Note” tournament on April 29, and the upcoming BetMGM May Millions series running May 8–11. The series will feature 18 events, including a $2,500 Super High Roller and a $1,000 Championship tournament with a $400,000 guarantee.
Players can also take part in daily login promotions and a spin-the-wheel campaign for chances to win up to $500 in tournament tickets. Additional promotions are available within the BetMGM Poker app.
The shared network will feed into the BetMGM Poker Championship at ARIA in Las Vegas, taking place June 30 to July 4. Online qualifiers are available weekly, with over 100 players expected to earn packages that include tournament entry, hotel accommodation, travel credit, and branded merchandise.
BetMGM Poker remains integrated with the operator’s unified rewards ecosystem, enabling players to earn BetMGM Rewards Points, which can be redeemed for digital bonuses, MGM Rewards, or Marriott Bonvoy Points.
As BetMGM scales its igaming and poker footprint, the company continues to emphasise responsible gambling. The integration of the GameSense program—licensed from the British Columbia Lottery Corporation—across its platforms is part of ongoing efforts to support safe and informed play.
Angus Nisbet, BetMGM Vice President of Gaming said, “Pennsylvania represents the largest state to join the shared player pool and turbocharges our poker platform. This expanded player pool will allow us to deliver more games and bigger tournaments to our players. BetMGM Poker is ready to celebrate the growth of our shared liquidity network throughout the spring and summer in a variety of ways.”
BetMGM Poker ambassador and record four-time World Poker Tour winner Darren Elias said, “It’s been amazing being part of the tremendous growth of BetMGM poker throughout the years. Adding a large market like Pennsylvania is a huge milestone in continued expansion and provides the opportunity to compete against more players and for larger prize pools. I used to call Pennsylvania home, and it played an important part in my early poker career. I can’t wait to log in and get in the mix.”
