Casino Guru has received the Outstanding Contribution to Safer Gambling award at the 2025 Global Regulatory Awards, acknowledging its initiatives aimed at promoting transparency, player protection and responsible practices within the igaming sector.
The recognition reflects the company’s ongoing work across several responsible gambling projects. Casino Guru’s Safety Index, which evaluates online casinos based on player interactions and reported experiences, has become a tool used to benchmark operator transparency and user safety. The company’s educational platform, Casino Guru Academy, provides training resources focused on responsible and sustainable gambling practices for industry professionals.
Casino Guru also operates a Complaint Resolution Center designed to assist players with disputes, which the company states has returned more than $52 million to date. Additional initiatives include the Global Self-Exclusion Initiative and the Safer Gambling Talks podcast, both aimed at broadening awareness and understanding of responsible gambling concepts.
The company has further expanded its involvement in industry recognition through the Casino Guru Awards, now entering its fourth year, which highlights organisations making notable contributions to responsible and fair igaming practices. Casino Guru said the collective impact of these programmes contributed to its selection for this year’s award.
Commenting on the achievement, Šimon Vincze, theSustainable & Safer Gambling Lead at Casino Guru, said: “Speaking on behalf of our entire team, I am humbled to accept this award, which is the latest distinction in Casino Guru’s unflagging efforts to make gambling safer and more transparent. Receiving this distinction from Vixio’s 2025 Global Regulatory Awards, and against a field of more companies that have dedicated efforts to making the industry more responsible, is an honor that motivates us to work harder and contribute to the collective effort.”
