EveryMatrix Appoints Sjöberg as SlotMatrix CCO

EveryMatrix has announced the appointment of Björn Sjöberg as Chief Commercial Officer of SlotMatrix, the company’s iGaming aggregation platform.

Sjöberg brings extensive industry experience from his previous tenure at Evolution, where he held several senior commercial roles, including Head of Key Account Management and most recently Chief Commercial Officer. His new role will focus on expanding the commercial reach of SlotMatrix, which hosts over 36,000 games from more than 350 global suppliers.

SlotMatrix is positioned as one of the industry’s largest real-money iGaming content platforms and continues to grow, recently enhanced by EveryMatrix’s acquisition of Fantasma Games. The addition of Fantasma’s portfolio strengthens SlotMatrix’s content offering and expands its reach in key regulated markets, including North America.

Sjöberg will report directly to Stian Hornsletten, CEO of EveryMatrix Games and Co-Founder of EveryMatrix, as the group continues to invest in the global expansion of its content and aggregation business.

Ebbe Groes, Group CEO and Co-Founder, EveryMatrix, said: “Björn is a fantastic addition to the senior commercial team. He has years of experience and brings invaluable knowhow that will serve us well as we accelerate both our own games development and continually strengthen third-party content.

“We have stood head and shoulders above our competitors in content for many years and with Björn’s expertise we can take this to new heights.”

Björn Sjöberg, CCO, SlotMatrix, said: “I’m thrilled to join EveryMatrix. I’ve known Stian and members of the senior team for many years and always admired what they’ve achieved in building not just the industry’s fastest growing provider, but also one of the most respected and trusted.

“The Fantasma acquisition is the icing on the cake when it comes to strengthening iGaming’s richest content offering. Looking at the plans we have for this year and ahead, without doubt, we will continue to exceed our customers’ expectations with the best content available.”
