Flashscore has announced that it has surpassed 155 million monthly active users and reached over 400 million app downloads, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory. The company attributes part of this expansion to its acquisition of Spanish football media platform BeSoccer, which has contributed more than 30 million users and strengthened Flashscore’s position in key global football markets.
The new records were achieved in October, when Flashscore and BeSoccer jointly reached a single-day traffic high of 48.5 million users and 2.58 billion page views, driven largely by audience interest in the La Liga fixture between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Flashscore, the flagship product of Czech-based Livesport, was founded in 2006 by Martin Hájek and Jiří Mareš. The platform has grown to become one of the most widely used sources for live scores and sports data, supported by strategic acquisitions including BeSoccer, Soccerway, and Tribal Football.
Football remains the dominant driver of engagement on Flashscore, accounting for more than 65% of total user activity, followed by tennis and basketball. The company’s largest user bases are located in Brazil, Italy, France, the UK, Poland, and Germany, with emerging audiences in Nigeria and the United States contributing to its continued global growth.
The recent surge in users and traffic highlights Flashscore’s growing influence in digital sports media and reflects the increasing demand among igaming and sports audiences for real-time, reliable match data.
Flashscore CEO Pavel Krbec said: “All our investments in modern technology and product portfolio, as well as our daily work, are directed toward a single goal: delivering key sports information to fans around the world at the moment it matters most.
“Surpassing the 155 million monthly user milestone has shown that our vision delivers tangible results and I’m confident that in the year ahead, we will raise the bar even higher.”
BeSoccer CEO Ana Chapado said: “One year under one umbrella with Flashscore reflects both the strength of our football-focused platform and the power of joining forces with a global leader. Together, we’re building something truly special for football fans around the world.”
Krbec said: “When the El Clásico was approaching, we saw it as an opportunity for Flashscore to shine. That’s exactly what happened – 14.7 million people followed the match on our platform, making it the second most-watched game in our history.”
