Gran Madrid Upgrades to GiG’s CoreX Platform in Long-Term Extension

Gran Madrid | Casino Online has extended its long-term partnership with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) by upgrading to GiG’s next-generation CoreX platform. The transition reflects Gran Madrid’s strategy to enhance its digital operations with scalable solutions, AI-driven risk management tools, and data-driven insights to optimize player engagement.

Having partnered with GiG since 2016, Gran Madrid—one of the leading land-based and online casino operators in the Iberian Peninsula—will now leverage CoreX’s advanced capabilities, including AI-powered risk assessment through LogicX and DataX. The platform also offers a localized product suite, featuring a diverse selection of casino content and payment methods designed to improve customer acquisition in regulated markets.

A key component of the partnership is GiG’s advanced risk-scoring system, which integrates big data analytics and third-party solutions to assess player risk dynamically. This technology enables Gran Madrid to implement tailored interactions that enhance both player engagement and responsible gaming measures.

GiG continues to reinforce its position in the Spanish market, where it currently powers more than 9% of the region’s regulated online igaming sector. The extension with Gran Madrid follows a series of recent contract renewals with major operators, including Betsson and LuckyDays, underscoring GiG’s focus on long-term collaboration and continuous product innovation.

James Coxon, Chief Operating Officer at GiG, commented: “The migration of Gran Madrid |Casino Online onto the CoreX platform is defining evidence of the continuous commitment everyone has at GiG to delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive real value. I’ve always believed that success depends on adaptability and innovation, and our role is to ensure our partners have access to the very best technology to remain at the forefront of the market. GRAN|MADRID’s continual evolution with us reinforces our shared vision for sustainable online growth, powered by flexible, AI-driven, and data-rich solutions.”.

José Félix Herreros, Country Manager at GRAN|MADRID added “Our partnership with GiG has played a key role in strengthening our online presence, complementing our land-based heritage with a cutting-edge digital experience. GiG’s technology and commitment to innovation continue to provide us with the flexibility and advanced tools needed to optimize our online operations. We look forward to continuing this successful collaboration as we drive further growth in the Spanish market.”
