Huddle Appoints Iain Hutchison as SVP of Business Development

Huddle has appointed Iain Hutchison as Senior Vice President of Business Development, as the company continues to develop its commercial strategy within the global igaming and sports betting sector.

Hutchison joins Huddle following senior commercial roles at Digitain and Genius Sports, where he held executive-level positions focused on revenue growth and business development. At Genius Sports, Hutchison was an early employee and progressed to Chief Revenue Officer over a 15-year period, before taking on a comparable role at Digitain.

The appointment comes as Huddle looks to expand the reach of its odds-making and trading services across regulated igaming markets. The company provides pricing and trading technology across a range of sports betting products, including player propositions, micro markets and same game parlays. In addition to its core focus on US sports, Huddle has expanded its product coverage to include tennis and soccer.

In his new role, Hutchison will be responsible for overseeing Huddle’s business development activities, including strengthening existing operator relationships and pursuing new commercial partnerships. The company stated that his experience supporting businesses through early-stage growth and subsequent scaling phases is expected to support its plans for further expansion in regulated jurisdictions.

Huddle’s management team indicated that the hire reflects a shift toward a more outward-facing commercial approach, as the supplier seeks to broaden adoption of its igaming and sports betting products among operators in multiple markets.
