Entain has signed an agreement with Pragmatic Play to introduce the Big Bass slot series across Ladbrokes and Coral retail shops in the UK, marking the first time the franchise will be deployed at scale in a major retail betting network. The deal grants Entain’s retail division exclusive bookmaker rights to titles including Big Bass Bonanza, Big Bass Splash and Big Bass Hold & Spinner for more than 2,700 locations.
The Big Bass series has been a consistent performer in Entain’s online portfolio, with all titles ranking among the top 20 games for both Ladbrokes and Coral. Big Bass Splash has been particularly strong, emerging as Entain’s highest-performing online slot in the UK this year following its 2022 launch.
Entain said the agreement supports its broader omnichannel strategy, aiming to deliver aligned digital and retail content experiences in response to increased player demand. The rollout will be supported by in-shop promotions and marketing activity across the Ladbrokes and Coral estates.
Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass franchise, launched in 2020, has built a wide international audience and is regarded as one of the most recognisable brands in the slots market. The new agreement extends its availability to retail customers in the UK for the first time.
“We’re proud to bring the iconic Big Bass series from Pragmatic Play to our high street customers,” said Adam Goodall, Head of UK Slots and Table Games at Entain. “These games have earned a long-standing and loyal following online, and now, we’re pleased to offer these great games in person on our cutting-edge in-shop gaming machines.”
“We’re delighted to further strengthen our relationship with Entain and bring our Big Bass titles to Ladbrokes and Coral shops throughout the UK,” said Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play. “This retail rollout demonstrates the enduring appeal of the Big Bass brand and our ability to deliver engaging experiences across channels.”
