Saudi Arabia, Greece, Philippines Drive iGaming Growth

Saudi Arabia, Greece and the Philippines have been identified as three of igaming’s fastest-rising markets in 2025, according to new data from market intelligence platform Blask. The company’s Blask Index, a real-time tracker that monitors shifts in player attention and search volumes across more than 100 jurisdictions, showed the trio recording the largest year-on-year climbs.

Saudi Arabia was the most improved market on the Blask Index in 2025, moving up nine places to twentieth position on the back of a notable increase in igaming-related interest across the Middle East. The Philippines rose four places to twelfth, a move Blask links to the introduction of a new igaming licensing framework by local regulator PAGCOR last year, which has reshaped access to the market and formalised key parts of the online offering.

Greece also advanced four places to seventeenth, supported by strong performance from operators such as OPAP and growing domestic engagement with regulated igaming products. Blask said the three markets illustrate how regulatory change and shifting consumer attention can quickly alter the competitive landscape across global igaming.

Despite the movement further down the rankings, the Blask Index top five remained unchanged from 2024, with the United Kingdom retaining its position as the leading igaming market by overall player attention and search activity.

Max Tesla, CEO and co-founder of Blask, said: “The global iGaming landscape is shifting faster than ever, with momentum often building in places many would not expect. That is why having a real-time, data-led understanding of player attention and market signals is now essential. Operators that can spot emerging trends early, and understand what is actually driving interest on the ground, are far better positioned to navigate uncertainty and capture new growth opportunities as they appear.”
