Splash Tech Approved by MGA to Launch Real-Money Jackpots

Splash Tech, a provider of free-to-play (FTP) engagement solutions for the igaming sector, has received a B2B Critical Gaming Supply Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), marking a significant development in the company’s move into real-money gaming.

The new licence enables Splash Tech to offer its real-money jackpot technology to operators for the first time. The company’s jackpot engine is designed to be both product- and vertical-agnostic, allowing for a seamless overlay on existing casino content. The solution supports configurable jackpot prizes across all game types, including casino and sports betting, with player contributions added on top of their primary wagers.

This development marks an expansion of Splash Tech’s commercial capabilities beyond FTP, giving operators additional tools to enhance player retention through jackpot-driven incentives. The MGA certification also opens up access to a wider range of regulated markets.

Splash Tech’s solutions are already integrated with several major igaming suppliers and platforms, including Evoke, Kambi, GiG, Altenar and Bragg Gaming Group. With this latest regulatory approval, the company is set to further scale its footprint and product offering within the regulated igaming space.

Adam Wilson, CEO at Splash Tech, said: “Securing an MGA licence represents a major landmark within the growth trajectory of our company. We have already seen the enormous impact real-money jackpots have in the short time-frame that we have been live and can’t wait to roll this incredible feature our across our network

“We have worked very hard to land the certification and can’t wait to see the reaction as we start to roll out our jackpots product, from partners and players alike.”
