We had the honour of gathering a handpicked group of iGaming’s foremost leaders at the iGF Supper Club Malta, held on September 4th at the magnificent Teatro Manoel — one of Europe’s oldest working theatres, and a truly fitting venue in the very heart of the island’s iGaming hub.
Now in its sophomore year, the iGF Supper Club remains an intimate and thought-provoking forum where decision-makers come together to explore the forces shaping the future of online gaming. This edition shone a spotlight on a vital theme: The Search for Transparency: Leading a New Generation of Gaming Integrity.
The evening opened with a welcoming address from Russell Mifsud, Director and Head of Gaming Europe at KPMG Malta, setting the tone for a programme dedicated to trust, accountability, and the future of compliance. Mike de Graaff, Co-Founder & CCO at BetComply, followed with a powerful perspective on transparency in iGaming, before KPMG Malta’s Keith Cortis revealed their latest market research, Playing Fair with AI: Building Trust Through AI Governance in Gaming.
A highlight of the night was the keynote by Moses Swaibu, author of Fixed: My Secret Life as a Match Fixer, who delivered a raw, insider view on the betting underworld and how integrity must evolve to protect the future of sport.
The evening concluded with an authentic Maltese wine-tasting session, a vibrant celebration of local culture that perfectly rounded off an agenda of progressive discussion and high-level networking.
The iGF team now looks ahead to our next Supper Club in Barcelona next January, where the conversation continues. Subscribe to the iGF newsletter for updates and join us as we keep pushing the boundaries of thought leadership in iGaming.
