Wazaa Bet Launches iGaming Content via QTech Games

Wazaa Bet has reported early performance gains following the integration of QTech Games’ aggregation platform, which went live with the operator in Q4 2025 as part of a broader expansion of its igaming offering in Sierra Leone. According to figures provided by the operator, total turnover increased by 58% in December and a further 49% in January, while its active player base had grown by 30% by February.

The growth has been supported by increased activity across Wazaa Bet’s igaming portfolio, with strong performance reported from crash and instant-style titles led by Aviator Rain, alongside content from suppliers including Spribe, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Blueprint Gaming and TaDa Gaming, all made available through the QTech Games integration. Additional titles cited as among the most played during the period include Aviator, Blackjack X Emerald, Fist of Destruction, Ze Zeus and Chicken Dash.

Wazaa Bet operates primarily in Sierra Leone, where localised content selection and simplified gameplay formats are viewed as key drivers of engagement. The operator and aggregator are also exploring cross-sell opportunities between sportsbook and casino products, with football expected to remain a central acquisition and retention channel in the market.

QTech Games operates an aggregation platform serving multiple regulated and emerging jurisdictions, providing operators with access to a portfolio of online casino and instant games from third-party suppliers. The company has stated that it continues to invest in data and business intelligence capabilities to support performance optimisation and to deliver insights for both operators and content providers, as part of its wider igaming platform development strategy.

Agatha Wanjugu, QTech Games’ Sales Manager for the region, said: “It’s a privilege to have been selected by a brand as revered as Wazaa Bet, and to be entrusted with scaling their operations across Sierra Leone to establish a significant online igaming presence ahead of this summer’s World Cup. We place a premium on understanding markets at a hyper-local level to define a pathway to success in this nuanced betting ecosystem.

“At QTech Games, we’ve always believed that sustainable growth —especially in emerging markets like Africa — comes from combining great content and deploying it in targeted packages, based on our product specialists knowing what works well in any given market. Being local is always the key. In high-growth regions like Sierra Leone, content diversity matters enormously because player demand evolves very quickly — and it’s also shaped by local realities such as mobile usage, data costs, device types, and payment preferences.

“As Wazaa Bet has found to their benefit, QTech provides a single technical and commercial gateway to the broadest portfolio of content for emerging markets, and we’re both thrilled by these early results in Q1.”

The Wazaa Bet Team added: “After researching the possibility of integrating with multiple casino aggregators for our launch in Sierra Leone and the DRC, we found QTech Games to be the most complete solution in terms of provider variety, front-end features, and fast support.

“We have no hesitation in continuing our partnership with QTech for our upcoming operations – and, to prove the point, we plan to launch soon in the DRC. We would like to thank Agatha, the technical team, and the promotions team for their continuous follow-up and the support they provided, which contributed to the success of this partnership.”
