White Label Casinos, BGaming, and Next.io have collectively raised €200,000 at a charity gala supporting DAR Bjorn, a Maltese facility providing care for individuals with ALS, MS, and other neurological conditions. The event, held on 9 May at Villa Bighi in Malta, aimed to fund the construction of a new DAR Bjorn Respite Centre.
The gala gathered more than 400 attendees from across the igaming sector and local community. Fundraising contributions came via ticket sales, an art auction, and merchandise purchases under the “Dream Big. Give Bigger.” campaign developed with Swag42.
As part of the initiative, BGaming donated €20,000 to fund a dedicated room within the forthcoming respite centre. The contribution aligns with the provider’s broader corporate social responsibility efforts as it continues expanding its operations in Malta.
The event also served as a networking opportunity for industry professionals and highlighted collaborative philanthropy within the igaming sector. Sponsorship support was provided by a wide range of industry stakeholders, including Visit Malta, Amusnet, 1spin4win, Focus Gaming News, and MyAffiliates, among others.
The organisers acknowledged the contributions from all sponsors, catering partners, and media collaborators, reinforcing the igaming community’s commitment to social impact initiatives within its operating jurisdictions.
Marina Ostrovtsova, Chief Executive Officer at BGaming, said: “I’m so proud of what BGaming team has managed to accomplish with this event, and I couldn’t be more grateful for our partners, NEXT.io and White Label Casinos, as well as to everyone who contributed. This event demonstrates how our industry can be a force for good, showing that we can make a meaningful difference through collective action.
“The DAR Bjorn Neurological Home is a remarkable centre that profoundly improves people’s lives. We’re honoured to support their mission and help raise awareness of the vital work they do.”
