Xpoint Names Shaan Devaraj Chief Technology Officer

Geolocation and compliance technology provider Xpoint has appointed Shaan Devaraj as Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing its leadership team as the company expands its igaming technology footprint across regulated markets.

Devaraj brings more than 30 years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure, along with several patents in geolocation technology. He is also recognised as a co-inventor of the world’s first Remote Gaming Server, a development that helped shape the evolution of online gaming infrastructure.

Before joining Xpoint, Devaraj served as CTO at United Interactive LLC, where he oversaw the launch of the Symphony igaming platform and the B2C brand Bet United. His earlier career includes 14 years at IGT’s Double Down Interactive, where he held senior roles in software development and architecture, contributing to the company’s digital and mobile gaming growth.

In his new position, Devaraj will work alongside CEO Manu Gambhir and the wider executive team to advance Xpoint’s technology roadmap, with a focus on enhancing its geolocation and compliance solutions for the igaming sector.

Manu Gambhir, CEO of Xpoint, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Shaan to Xpoint, bringing his extensive experience in the iGaming industry and in developing innovative geolocation solutions for regulated markets.
