Alea Announces Leadership Transition with Jordi Sendra as New CEO

Alea, a premier aggregator platform in the igaming industry, announces a strategic shift in its leadership team. Founder Alex Tomic has transitioned from his role as CEO, appointing Jordi Sendra, the former Chief Operating Officer, as his successor.

Under Tomic’s guidance, Alea has expanded its global footprint, establishing a significant presence in key markets such as Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Moving forward, Tomic will adopt a non-executive role, focusing on Alea’s strategic direction in these regions and beyond. This new position will also enable Tomic to dedicate more time to his broader commitments within the igaming community, where he is recognized as an influential leader.

In conjunction with these executive changes, Ramon Glieneke steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer. Glieneke’s extensive experience in aggregation across various sectors positions him well to oversee Alea’s operational management, ensuring the company continues to thrive and innovate in the competitive igaming landscape.

Commenting on his appointment Jordi Sendra said, “I’ve been at Alea for the last three years and during this time, I’ve seen the business evolve into one of the most exciting aggregator platforms in our industry.

“I’m delighted that Alex and the team have put their trust in me to lead this company forward and I’m also very excited to welcome Ramon to the team.

“We are always looking for new and incredibly talented people from outside of the iGaming industry to join us on this journey. Ramon’s API aggregation experience gained from working within the travel sector will provide us with a whole new level of knowledge and perspective and will help to ensure our success moving forward.”

Commenting on his appointment as COO, Ramon Glieneke said, “It’s a fantastic opportunity for me to bring my vast experience to the iGaming industry.

“Alea is one of the fastest growing company’s in this space and I’m thrilled to be given the position of COO and look forward to supporting Jordi as we go from strength-to-strength.’
