Alea is heading to New York this week to participate in the NEXT.io double-header: the Emerging Verticals conference and the New York Summit.
As a General Partner at Emerging Verticals (March 9), Alea focuses on the sectors driving the next phase of the US market. Perspective on the Future: Skill Gaming and Prediction Markets
Alea’s leadership will be featured on the conference stage to discuss where the industry is heading.
On March 9 at 4:30 PM, Alexandre Tomic will join the panel “Skill Gaming’s Breakout Moment: Hype or the Next Real Opportunity?” The session will examine the forces behind the growth of skill-based models and whether the category is ready for large-scale adoption in the US.
The event also provides a platform to discuss the shift toward player-versus-player (PvP) dynamics, a model Alexandre sees as a fundamental change for the industry.
