Alea Returns to SiGMA Africa 2026 as Gold Sponsor, Reinforcing Its Commitment to the Continent

Alea, the award-winning iGaming aggregator, is heading back to SiGMA Africa in Cape Town as a Gold Sponsor for the second year in a row, a reflection of how important the African market has become within the company’s global strategy.

As markets like South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya move toward more sophisticated regulatory frameworks and mobile-dominant player bases, the need for data-driven technology has never been higher.

Representing Alea in Cape Town will be COO Ramon Glieneke and Head of PR & Communications Marit von Stedingk, along with members of the business development, account management, and partnerships teams.

At Booth 065, attendees will be able to explore live demos of Alea’s Client Area, a space designed to give operators full control over their setup. From monitoring performance to managing game portfolios and accessing real-time data, the Client Area puts everything in one place, making day-to-day operations simpler and more efficient.

Sip & Safari Experience – Powered by Alea

On the 3rd of March, Alea will sponsor the official Sip & Safari Experience, a C-suite invite-only gathering that offers guests a chance to explore the Durbanville Wine Valley through wine tastings and a safari experience.

Panel: Mobile-First Game Design for African Audiences

On 4 March | 14:45 – 15:15, Ramon Glieneke will join the panel “Mobile-First Game Design for African Audiences” on the Conference Stage. The discussion will tackle the technical and cultural realities of the region, from data constraints to the rise of social-multiplayer mechanics.

“Africa has been a key market for us for a long time, and returning as a Gold Sponsor was a natural step. When we first arrived, aggregation was still a new concept here, but we’re seeing that change quickly as the market matures. Operators are realising they need more than just content; they need the technical infrastructure to manage it across different regions. We are here to provide that bridge, giving our partners the data and localised tools they need to scale properly.” — Ramon Glieneke, COO at Alea.

Award Nomination

During the week, Alea is also nominated for Best Workplace at the SiGMA Africa Awards, taking place on Tuesday, 3rd of March.

As the industry gathers in Cape Town, Alea looks forward to strengthening relationships and continuing its steady expansion across a region that is becoming increasingly central to the global iGaming landscape.
