Bahrain Turf Club Awards Media Rights to RMG

Bahrain Turf Club has signed a two-year agreement with Racecourse Media Group (RMG) for the exclusive distribution of live pictures and data from 29 race fixtures, including the US$1 million Bahrain International Trophy. The new deal will see RMG handle international broadcast and streaming distribution across key markets.

Under the arrangement, RMG will continue its collaboration with Arena Racing Company (ARC) through their joint venture, GBI Racing, which currently delivers global racing content to approximately 10,000 retail outlets and over 100 digital platforms worldwide. In the UK and Ireland, RMG and ARC will also provide streaming and retail coverage for the Bahrain racing season.

The Bahrain racing calendar runs from October 31 to April 17 and features high-profile events such as the Bahrain Turf Series, which offers a combined prize pool of US$1 million and attracts competitors from Britain, Ireland, France, the UAE, and Bahrain. The latest agreement reinforces RMG’s international portfolio of iGaming and racing content partnerships while expanding Bahrain Turf Club’s global broadcast reach.

Ed Veale, Director of Racing & International Business at Bahrain Turf Club, said: “We are delighted to extend our long-standing relationship with RMG, and look forward to working with them, and their partners, ARC, to enhance exposure and engagement with racing fans.”

Nick Mills, CEO of Racecourse Media Group, said: “We’re thrilled to expand our partnership further by adding this distribution arrangement to our existing production, broadcast and advertising agreements. We look forward to working with our international partners, ARC, on increasing audiences and revenues for Bahrain Turf Club.”

Brendan Parnell, Managing Director, Media & International, of Arena Racing Company, said: “At ARC we are thankful to RMG for the inclusion on this partnership as part of our GBI venture, and we are very excited to be a part of Bahrain Turf Club’s distribution journey for the next two seasons.”
