Betfred has introduced Checkd Dev’s Automated Betting System as part of an update to its football betting proposition, following a multi-year agreement between the UK igaming operator and the technology supplier. The integration focuses on pre-match football accumulator betting and is designed to automate bet creation while aligning with Betfred’s existing pricing framework.
Under the agreement, Betfred has launched a range of pre-configured, one-click accumulator bets powered by Checkd Dev’s ABS technology. The system is embedded within Betfred’s igaming platform and allows customers to place accumulator bets generated using predefined logic and historical performance data. These bets are presented with probabilities derived from historic form, with pricing controlled by Betfred’s internal trading models.
From an operational perspective, the ABS provides Betfred’s trading team with backend tools to manage bet creation, updates and settlement in an automated environment. The solution is intended to reduce manual input while supporting the delivery of consistent pre-match betting products across football markets within the regulated igaming sector.
The deployment also incorporates Betfred’s Acca Flex bonus structure, which is available to customers at launch. The offer includes bonus payouts on winning bets and a money-back feature if one selection in an accumulator is unsuccessful, subject to operator terms.
Checkd Dev’s ABS has been developed over a two-year period and is built on the supplier’s proprietary BRUNO platform. Initially positioned as a statistics-led conversion tool, the system has since been expanded into a broader automated betting product aimed at meeting demand from igaming operators for pre-configured wagering options.
The Betfred agreement follows other recent commercial activity by Checkd Dev, including partnerships with William Hill and OpenBet. The latest deployment adds to the supplier’s portfolio of integrations with established igaming operators seeking to expand automated betting functionality within football betting offerings.

Andrew Grimshaw, Commercial Director at Checkd Dev, commented: “We are delighted to be working with fellow Mancunians Betfred on our Trending Bets product. More and more major bookmakers are recognising the tangible value of our automated betting solutions, and it is especially gratifying to collaborate with a local partner on this launch.”
Mark Hartley, Head of Product at Betfred, added: “Since moving onto our propriety platform, we’ve been able to bring new ideas to market much faster. This partnership with Checkd Dev is a great example, helping us solve a simple problem for football fans: researching and building an accumulator can sometimes feel like hard work!
“With one-click, data-driven selections we’ve made the process quicker and easier, while still giving customers the choice and depth they want. Accas are already one of our most compelling propositions, thanks to our popular promotion Acca Flex, and this launch makes them even more engaging. We’re also looking forward to exploring further opportunities to work with Checkd Dev in the future.”
