BGaming has received formal certification to offer its games in Italy, marking another step in the content provider’s broader European and international expansion strategy. The approval follows a successful testing process conducted by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), allowing BGaming to begin supplying certified content to licensed operators in the regulated Italian igaming market.
GLI’s certification of the initial batch of BGaming titles confirms that the company’s content meets Italy’s regulatory standards. Additional games are currently undergoing the approval process. Recognised for its stringent testing procedures, GLI remains one of the most prominent independent laboratories in the global gambling sector.
The certification grants BGaming access to a key European market and follows the provider’s ongoing efforts to strengthen compliance and information security. In addition to GLI’s game certification, BGaming has secured the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification for Italy and completed a third-party cybersecurity audit by Bulletproof, further underscoring its operational readiness and commitment to player protection.
This development comes shortly after the company announced similar certification to enter Brazil, positioning BGaming to grow its footprint across multiple high-potential regulated markets.
Antonina Ivanova, Head of Legal & Compliance at BGaming, said: “Obtaining the certificates required for the Italian market marks a significant milestone for BGaming. The certification process was complex and thorough, and we are delighted to be able to prove the reliability and accuracy of our games and system, as well as our full compliance with local laws. We are also extremely proud of our team for getting this over the line.
“Italian players are among the most enthusiastic in the world, and we can not wait to introduce them to our unique brand of online games. This marks a significant milestone in our continued expansion across Europe and continues our strong start to 2025.”
