Bitblox Acquires Isle of Man Gaming License

Bitblox, a pioneering provider of price prediction games aimed at popularizing crypto-based betting, has announced its approval from the Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC) to supply its content to all Isle of Man-licensed businesses.

With this newly acquired license from the GSC, recognized as a benchmark for excellence among iGaming regulators, Bitblox is now positioned to distribute its comprehensive range of gaming titles to operators and aggregators within the markets governed by this certification.

This development allows Isle of Man-licensed brands to integrate Bitblox’s innovative gaming offerings into their portfolios. The selection includes titles such as Up or Down, Up or Down Turbo, 3 in a Row, and BitSlap, all available in pool betting formats.

These games offer a dynamic and engaging betting experience, appealing to both crypto enthusiasts and industry newcomers. Players predict the price fluctuations of specific cryptocurrencies over set periods. For instance, in Up or Down and Up or Down Turbo, players guess whether a token’s price will rise or fall over 60 or 20 seconds, respectively. 3 in a Row extends this concept, allowing users to combine three outcomes for potentially larger rewards. BitSlap adds a unique twist with fun character fights to conclude the betting rounds, enhancing its mass-market appeal and offering branding opportunities for operators.

While these games already stand out in the industry, Bitblox plans to further enhance its product offerings by introducing free-to-play and real-money tournaments, adding an extra layer of social engagement for players.

This strategic move underscores Bitblox’s commitment to innovation in the iGaming sector, leveraging the Isle of Man’s reputable regulatory environment to expand its reach and influence in the global market.

Brandt Page, CEO at Bitblox, said: “Here at Bitblox we’re attempting to introduce an entirely new form of crypto-based betting to the iGaming industry, so having our titles certified by the Isle of Man’s GSC is obviously a huge step forward in terms of what we’re hoping to achieve.

“With this new certification now in place, we’ll be able to offer our unique games to operators and aggregators based in all countries covered by the IOM licence, meaning players of all experience levels will be able to use an appealing mix of skill and luck as they try to profit from the markets.”
