BongoBongo has expanded its partnership with QTech Games, reporting growth in player activity following the integration of the supplier’s aggregation platform across several African markets.
The operator said the rollout has contributed to higher turnover, active player numbers and engagement in Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya and Uganda, with activity increasing during the FIFA World Cup.
Through the agreement, BongoBongo has integrated content from multiple suppliers available via the QTech platform. The operator said crash games, including SmartSoft Gaming’s JetX, have been among its strongest-performing titles, while promotional features such as Free Spins and Slot of the Week campaigns have been introduced through QTech Promotions.
The partnership has also expanded BongoBongo’s content offering with lightweight games from TaDa Gaming, designed for markets where device capabilities, network speeds and mobile data costs can affect gameplay.
According to the companies, the collaboration has focused on combining content aggregation with localised promotional campaigns and recommendation tools intended to increase player engagement and retention across different markets.
BongoBongo said player preferences in its markets continue to favour mobile-first and short-session gaming formats, particularly crash games and instant-win titles. The operator also highlighted tournaments, leaderboards and other community-focused mechanics as areas of increasing player engagement.
For QTech, the agreement extends the use of its aggregation platform in African iGaming markets, with the supplier stating that it continues to invest in data analytics and business intelligence to support content recommendations and market-specific product development.
Philip Doftvik, CEO at QTech, said: “At QTech, we’ve always believed that strong growth —especially in emerging markets like Africa — comes from combining great content and deploying it in targeted packages, based on our product specialists knowing what works well in any given market. Being local is vital. In these high-growth regions content diversity matters enormously because player demand evolves very quickly — and it’s also shaped by local realities such as mobile usage, data costs, device types, and payment preferences. We look forward to being BongoBongo’s growth partner and contributing to their journey ahead.”
BongoBongo added: “Our mission has always been to deliver top-tier entertainment to our players, and QTech’s seamless gateway provided exactly what we needed: immediate access to high-performing, lightweight titles, paired with flexible campaign tools. This is a true synergy, and we are excited for the road ahead.”
Jacopo Stefanetti, Head of Promotions at QTech Games, concluded: “Successful promotions are never just about rewarding players, they’re about creating the right experience for the right audience. Every market behaves differently, and even within the same market, different player segments respond to different mechanics, game types and promotional journeys. By combining local insights with data-driven promotional strategies and intelligent game positioning, we help operators engage players more effectively and build sustainable growth over time.”
