Catalist Sports Appoints James Monk to lead U.S. Launch

Catalist Sports has named James Monk as Vice President and General Manager to oversee its launch and operations in the United States. The appointment marks a key stage in the company’s entry into the regulated U.S. sports betting and iGaming market.

Based in New York, Monk will manage Catalist Sports’ commercial partnerships with licensed operators, regulatory licensing and compliance, product rollout, and business development. The company enters the market as the exclusive reseller of Infront Sports & Media content, providing official data and live streaming rights from more than 60,000 annual sporting events to regulated U.S. sportsbooks.

This portfolio includes major tennis tournaments such as the Australian Open, ITF World Tour, Davis Cup, and Billie Jean King Cup, alongside coverage of more than 40,000 additional events across football, basketball, and ice hockey. Catalist Sports is also working with other international content and pricing feed providers to expand compliant access to the U.S. betting market.

Monk’s experience spans commercial partnerships and content distribution within international sportsbook operations. Catalist Sports is currently licensed in 28 U.S. states and has recently been approved as a supplier by the Missouri Gaming Commission. The Missouri license enables the company to distribute official live content to licensed sportsbooks ahead of its planned launch on December 1.

“Catalist Sports’ entry into the U.S. market marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter,” said James Monk, VP & General Manager of Catalist Sports. “With a first-class content portfolio and regulatory approval in place, we’re perfectly positioned to help operators enhance their offerings through high-quality, official, exclusive content, not available anywhere else. We’re proud to be building a business founded on compliance, partnership, and innovation, by partnering with best-in-class third-party suppliers.”
