Catena Media has announced the appointment of Erik Edeen as the interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from 22 May 2023. Edeen will replace Peter Messner, who will be leaving the company in early June. Messner has held the position since April 2020 and was due to depart the company after his departure was announced in February. Edeen previously served as the interim CFO for Catena Media from 2019 to 2020.
Erik Edeen has over 16 years of professional experience within financial management and has held leading roles within private and public corporations, including ICA Gruppen AB and Investor AB. He has most recently worked in a strategic advisory capacity for a global media corporation. Edeen holds a Master of Business and Economics degree with a major in Financial Accounting from Uppsala University.
