Checkd International Expands U.S. Reach with New SmartPicks App

Checkd International, part of the award-winning Checkd Group, has expanded its presence in the U.S. sports betting market with the launch of its revamped app, SmartPicks. This app builds on the success of its predecessor, FlashPicks, with a more streamlined and feature-rich platform aimed at enhancing the sports betting experience for American users.

SmartPicks introduces a player props hit rate tool and offers odds comparison with licensed U.S. sportsbooks, delivering a sophisticated yet accessible betting platform. Key features include a same-game parlay builder with add-to-bet slip functionality, automatic bet tracking, and customizable notifications for both team and player bets. The app also features improved bet slip functionality, with over 60 player prop markets and automated insights.

Available through a subscription-based model, SmartPicks Pro grants users enhanced access to a wide array of betting features and analytics, marking Checkd Group’s first foray into subscription revenue in addition to its existing income streams.

Developed by Checkd Dev, the technology arm of Checkd Group, the app leverages proven technology from the UK market to deliver a unique sports betting experience tailored for U.S. audiences. Checkd Dev has also supported other top-tier operators, such as Paddy Power, with innovative products like the Mix ’N Match bet builder.

SmartPicks has already generated a strong response, with a 187% increase in searches in 2024, reaching 86,000 searches so far, compared to 30,000 in 2023. As the platform continues to evolve throughout the NFL season, Checkd International is poised to strengthen its footprint in the highly competitive American iGaming landscape.
