Codere Online has appointed Marcus Arildsson as Chief Financial Officer, effective November 17, 2025. Arildsson succeeds Oscar Iglesias, who will oversee a transition period before joining the company’s Board of Directors, pending shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting on December 1.
Arildsson brings more than 25 years of experience in international finance, investment banking, and corporate strategy. His career began at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch in London, where he worked on over €9 billion in cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and equity transactions. He later joined Arcano Partners in Madrid, advising corporates and financial sponsors on M&A, debt, and equity deals totalling more than €5 billion.
Before joining Codere Online, Arildsson held senior financial and executive roles at Millenium Hospitality Real Estate, Sonae Sierra, and Ladorian, covering real estate investment and retail media technology sectors.
Codere Online operates iGaming and sports betting platforms across Spain and Latin America and is listed on Nasdaq under the symbols CDRO and CDROW. The company said the appointment strengthens its leadership team as it continues to execute its strategic growth plans across regulated markets.
