Continent 8 Technologies Appoints Ex-Google Executive Dave Phillips

Continent 8 Technologies, a globally recognized infrastructure provider for the gambling industry, has enhanced its leadership team by appointing Dave Phillips, a former Google executive, as Vice President, Network. This move is part of Continent 8’s strategy to attract top-tier talent amidst its ongoing global expansion.

Dave Phillips brings a wealth of experience to Continent 8, having spent 15 years at Google where he held various leadership roles within the Engineering, Operations, Delivery, and Product teams. His extensive background in the internet community positions him well for his new role at Continent 8.

As Vice President, Network, Phillips will oversee Continent 8’s expansive global network, which currently extends over 100 locations across four continents, including significant coverage in 30 states in the US. The vast reach of the network places Continent 8 among the world’s most connected providers.

Phillips will lead a dedicated team of networking specialists based in multiple regions, including the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Singapore, and India. His role will be pivotal in ensuring that Continent 8 continues to deliver secure, high-speed, and low-latency connectivity solutions to the igaming industry and beyond. This appointment underscores Continent 8’s commitment to maintaining its leading position in the market and driving technological innovation in the igaming sector.
