Faulkner, transitioning from his recent role at Videoslots, brings to the table an extensive twenty-year tenure within the igaming industry.
His career is distinguished by notable achievements and leadership positions at several leading operators, including an eight-year tenure at Paddy Power. There, Faulkner played a pivotal role in enhancing the brand’s competitive edge against major industry players like Ladbrokes, William Hill, and bet365. His journey also includes a significant period at Betfair, where he led the Sportsbook Operations team, and his involvement in the successful merger between Paddy Power and Betfair.
Faulkner’s expertise was further expanded at the Matchbook Betting Exchange, where he was instrumental in advancing the Customer Operations team. His leadership was also pivotal at SB Tech, where he managed a B2C sportsbook until its acquisition by DraftKings, followed by consulting roles that focused on market entry strategies and player value maximisation for several US sportsbooks and an India-focused gambling business.
Prior to his latest role at La Royale Gaming Investments, Faulkner was integral to the operations at Videoslots in Malta. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversaw a significant portion of the company’s workforce, directing operations, customer service, payment processing, risk management, responsible gambling initiatives, and sportsbook operations.
Faulkner’s extensive experience and strategic insight into the igaming sector are expected to significantly contribute to La Royale Gaming Investments’ continued growth and innovation in the market.
