EveryMatrix Earns World Lottery Association Security Standard

EveryMatrix, an esteemed B2B technology provider in the iGaming sector, has recently achieved the Level 2 certification of the World Lottery Association Security Control Standard 2020 (WLA-SCS:2020), a recognition earned by only a limited number of companies in the industry.

The WLA-SCS Level 2 is considered the most comprehensive certification standard for lottery and sports betting operators, as well as their suppliers. The certification followed a stringent audit carried out by GLI, in which EveryMatrix demonstrated exemplary compliance.

The certification encompasses 21 controls for lottery technology suppliers, including the deployment of cloud hosting for lottery gaming systems and the establishment of robust privacy and application security controls.

During the certification audit, EveryMatrix’s platforms for iLottery, sports betting, and iGaming underwent a thorough assessment, resulting in no non-conformities.

Alongside the WLA-SCS Level 2 certification, EveryMatrix also holds ISO 27001 and ISO 20000 certifications. These certifications collectively illustrate EveryMatrix’s competence as a technology provider and affirm its unwavering dedication to security, quality, reliability, and customer service across all its business operations.

Over recent years, EveryMatrix has secured several agreements with World Lottery Association (WLA) and European Lotteries (EL) members, including Norsk Tipping (Norway), OPAP (Greece), National Lottery (Malta), Veikkaus (Finland), and most recently, the Hungarian gaming and lottery operator, Szerencsejáték. The latter represents one of the largest contracts in the company’s 15-year history.

Ebbe Groes, CEO, EveryMatrix, said: “Security is a top priority for EveryMatrix and achieving compliance with this rigorous standard is proof of our commitment to our existing and future WLA customers”.
