FireKeepers Launches Digital Sports Betting and Casino Content in Michigan


Scientific Games Corporation (Scientific Games) and FireKeepers Casino Hotel have launched online casino and digital sports betting content in Michigan.

FireKeepers Casino first opened in 2009 and has become one of the biggest tribal gaming operators in the U.S. The casino, located in Battle Creek, Mich., features 2,900 slots machines, 70 table games, multiple restaurants and lounges alongside its new retail sportsbook which launched in June 2020.

This summer, FireKeepers will celebrate the grand opening of a major expansion, including a second hotel tower, plus new high limit slot and table areas, and a new location for the award-winning Nibi fine dining restaurant.

Scientific Games will provide its full suite of digital technology to FireKeepers including its extensive in-house gaming content via the OpenGaming™ ecosystem, including 88 Fortunes® and Let It Ride®, further underpinning the Company’s foothold in Michigan. Alongside the vast array of casino content being available, FireKeepers’ players will now be able wager on sports via Scientific Games’ OpenSports™ platform, which has enjoyed unprecedented activity for major sporting events across the globe throughout 2021.

This latest deal will further strengthen the offering FireKeepers will be able to provide to iGaming players.
