Flutter Entertainment has officially opened its new Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, India.
Situated in RMZ Spire within Knowledge City, one of India’s key technology hubs, this development represents a US$3.5 million (£2.68m) investment and underscores Flutter’s commitment to the Indian talent market.
The new facility spans over 80,000 sq. ft. across three floors and is now home to more than 700 employees. Teams at the centre will contribute to key areas such as Data Engineering, Game Integrity Services, HR Operations, Procurement, Safety and Security, and Customer Operations.
The Hyderabad hub will be instrumental in supporting Flutter’s global growth strategy, further powering the Omnichannel’s storied brands that include PaddyPower, Sisal, Sky Betting & Gaming, PokerStars, Sportsbet, and Betfair.
The launch aligns with Flutter’s global sustainability initiative, the Positive Impact Plan and the centre has received gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design”, highlighting Flutter’s commitment to reducing environmental impact.
Commitment
In line with its focus on corporate responsibility, Flutter has pledged INR3.2 Crore, the equivalent of £30,000 (US$39,000), in 2024 to support local Hyderabadi initiatives; demonstrating a clear commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where it operates.
“Our expansion in India marks a huge milestone in Flutter’s growth and shows our continued commitment to investing in top talent to drive business growth globally,” Flutter COO Phil Bishop told iGamingFuture.
“Through the power of ‘The Flutter Edge’, the Hyderabad Global Capability Centre is designed to foster creativity and growth and strengthens our presence in the Indian employment and skills market.”
Added Ashish Sinha, Managing Director of Flutter Entertainment India: “We are excited to expand our facility in Hyderabad as we continue to strengthen our presence in India.
“We aim to grow while maintaining a challenger mindset and leading the sector globally and India presents a significant opportunity for our business.
“This expansion aligns with our global vision of ‘Changing the Game’ by enabling continuous improvement in product and technology across iGaming and sports betting across our portfolio of brands.”
