FSB Obtains GLI Certification to Expand Presence in South Africa

FSB, a global provider of sports betting and iGaming platforms, has been granted GLI certification in the regulated South African market. This prestigious technology accreditation allows FSB to offer its award-winning solutions to the Rainbow Nation, as it prepares to enter the fast-growing market later this year.

As the recipient of the 2022 EGR Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year award, FSB has a strong presence and successful track record in the African region. With a portfolio of esteemed operator partners including well-established Nigerian brand Nairabet and popular Goliath Jackpot host, Bet Lion, FSB is well-positioned to cater to the South African market.

The GLI approval in South Africa follows FSB’s recent market entry into North America. In 2023, the company established partnerships with trusted associates Fitzdares and Power Play to expand its presence in the Canadian province of Ontario.

By obtaining GLI certification and leveraging its proven expertise, FSB aims to provide cutting-edge sports betting and iGaming solutions to operators in South Africa, contributing to the growth and development of the local industry.

Ian Freeman, Chief Revenue Officer, at FSB, said: “We have a very clear strategy of aligning our market leading sportsbook, platform and casino portfolio of products and services with markets that offer FSB and its partners the best chance to succeed. Securing GLI certification in this market is a continuation of this strategy and we are very much looking forward to launching with a fresh and innovative offering with our Tier 1 partner(s).
