GamblingInformation.com Empowers Players with Reliable Casino Data and Insights

Ed Roberts has a long and storied history with iGaming. His business degree helped him score a job with customer support at a prominent sportsbook at quite an early age. But, this was only the start. Roberts managed to leverage his customer support skills into building the GamblingInformation.com website to new and incredible heights. Now, as its editor-in-chief, he does a great job of empowering customers and giving them insights into the best casinos on the market. We’ve asked Mr. Roberts to share some of his views on reliable casinos and how he and his website put focus on the player.

What inspired the launch of GamblingInformation.com, and how has your mission evolved since its inception?

“We simply wanted to empower the player. iGaming is a relatively new market. Though it has grown quite significantly in the past few decades, it is still new to many. That is why we wanted this website to focus on lifting new players up. Though our goal has not changed, we have gone global now. So, perhaps I should say that the mission has expanded, rather than evolved.”

Your platform focuses heavily on data and insights. What types of casino data do you provide to help players make informed choices?

“We share data about every important aspect of an online casino. Responsible gambling is important to us, and our experts are so dedicated to ensuring that a page we promote is just as dedicated to the subject. We also provide data on odds, pay outs, payment methods, transparency, and more.”

How do you ensure that the data you present (such as payout rates, licensing, and bonus terms) is accurate and trustworthy?

“We thoroughly examine the web page that we are discussing before we display anything on the website, of course. We double-check the license registration just to make sure. We thoroughly read the bonus terms and conditions, several times if necessary. It is all about being thorough really.”

What tools or filters do you offer users to help them find the right casino based on their preferences or location?

“Well, we do feature region-based listings for anyone who might be looking for casinos in a specific country. We also have a rating system that takes into account every single factor imaginable from bonuses to transparency. The team is also looking to expand on some tools in the future, so that we may allow our visitors to have even quicker access to the casinos of their dreams.”

How do your insights differ from typical affiliate content or generic casino lists?

“We have some of the most eloquent experts in the field writing our reviews. I would also like to think that the fact we give continuous updates counts for something. Above all else though, we are proud to be transparent with our customers, and give them the stone-cold facts no matter what.”

In what ways does your platform serve both novice players and more experienced gamblers?

“That is always a difficult balance. We would like to think that our UX-focused approach is perfect for any newbies. We have pretty easily-accessible comparisons and easy-to-understand guides for the new guys and gals. Experienced gamblers might benefit more from our detailed and in-depth reviews, which really dig to the bottom of it all.”

Do you use any AI or automation to analyze trends, flag suspicious operators, or personalize recommendations?

“We tend to avoid generative AI or automated trend detection. The way the market is evolving though, who knows what the future holds. For now, however, we do all that stuff manually. The site is blessed to have really hard-working editors and writers, who are very dedicated to the craft. A lot of us have spotted some unsavory and suspicious operators in the past, and we are making strides in personalization as well.”

Can you share an example of how your platform helped a player avoid a bad experience or find the right operator?

“I wouldn’t share a specific player’s experiences, but we do try our best to help players steer clear from certain bonus items with bad wagering terms, or casinos that don’t really pay attention to responsible gambling. Our goal is to point customers in the right direction, and help them understand the ins and outs of the iGaming market.”

With so much competition in the affiliate space, what do you think makes GamblingInformation.com a standout resource?

“It would be our dedication to expertly-driven reviews and our constant and continuous updates of the website. We are also dedicated to transparency, far more than the average affiliate page in my opinion. We believe that the more of our inner-workings that the customer can see, the more they will trust us. It is part of the reason why I like to do interviews like these, and get the word out about how we function.”

What’s next for GamblingInformation.com in terms of features, markets, or partnerships?

“We are definitely looking to expand our content. We are looking to go global and get into the North American and European markets. As you may already know, we already work with offshore casinos licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Association. But, we would like to expand even further, should circumstances allow for it.”
