iGaming data and technology provider Genius Sports has signed an exclusive agreement with Lega Serie A to capture and distribute official data and low-latency betting video streams from Italy’s top football competitions through the 2028/29 season.
Under the terms of the agreement, Genius Sports will manage the collection and commercialisation of data and live streaming content for all Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana matches. The deal includes access to official tracking data for media usage, allowing for enhanced editorial content, including match analysis and broadcast augmentation.
The partnership is also intended to support anti-infringement efforts and protect the commercial value of official data across global betting markets. Genius Sports will deliver this content to its sportsbook partners, with a focus on ensuring accuracy, speed, and data security.
The agreement will further support the rollout of Genius Sports’ BetVision product, an interactive live betting platform first launched with the NFL. The product combines live streaming, statistics overlays, and betting functionality within a single interface. The addition of Serie A content represents an expansion of BetVision into European football.
