Glitnor Group Appoints Mel Camilleri-Bland as COO


Glitnor Group, the innovative force behind popular B2C igaming brands such as LuckyCasino and HappyCasino, is set to enhance its executive team with Mel Camilleri-Bland stepping into the role of Chief Operations Officer. Camilleri-Bland, with an extensive 15-year background in the igaming sector across various key roles, will head the operations for LCKY Group, Glitnor Group’s B2C division, succeeding Cameron Brown.

Before her new role at Glitnor Group, Camilleri-Bland served as Group Director of Compliance at BVGroup, a position capped by a nearly seven-year tenure at the company. Her career also includes significant leadership positions such as COO of Mayfly Entertainment Limited, Managing Director of both Monarch Sensation and A2D Entertainment, and Director of Operational Excellence at BetVictor. Furthermore, she contributed her expertise as an independent director and consultant for MMC Consulting Ltd and Director of Customer Operations at William Hill.

Camilleri-Bland’s global experience is noteworthy, having worked across diverse markets including the UK, Germany, Gibraltar, South Africa, the Middle East, and Malaysia. Her ability to immerse in and leverage local cultures for business growth has been a hallmark of her career, showcasing exceptional adaptability and leadership skills.

As Glitnor Group aims to expand its B2C offerings in 2024, Camilleri-Bland’s proven leadership abilities and deep industry knowledge are anticipated to drive the group’s operations forward. Her appointment reflects Glitnor Group’s commitment to leveraging experienced leadership to enhance its market position and operational excellence. Both Camilleri-Bland and the executive team at Glitnor are eager to embark on this new phase of growth and development.
