Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a select group of Europe’s leading iGaming professionals to the iGF Supper Club. It took place at the exclusive private members club, Gracy’s, an architectural jewel, nestled in the heart of Valletta, Malta.
The Supper Club is an intimate networking and learning experience where sector leaders come together, with a prime focus on exploring how we, as an industry, can best navigate the evolving regulatory landscape and ensure sustained growth well into the future.
The event was chaired by Russell Mifsud Director & Gaming Lead at KPMG.
The welcoming address was given by our Event Partners, Games Global via their Head of Partnerships, Gianluca Calabretta,
The audience also heard from Josh Hodgson, Senior Associate at H2 Gambling Capital. Gaining some incredible insights into the real impact of regulation on market revenue and levels of competitiveness, alongside some surprising projections for the future. A session that wasn’t to be missed!
Kathy Griffin, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for Uber gave the eye-opening Keynote Briefing.
During her session, Kathy explored the striking parallels between the tech services, and iGaming industry. Regarding their similar compliance and regulatory challenges, exploring new pathways and transferable learnings that we as the iGaming industry can discover, through adopting more of an outside-industry mindset.
The evening of networking and progressive thought leadership was capped off with an exciting Maltese wine-tasting session. A perfect way to see out the evening.
Meantime, we at the iGF team look forward to welcoming you to the next iGF Supper Club, taking place in Barcelona, January 2025.
