Kingsbet CZ Acquired by Greentube in iGaming Deal

Kingsbet CZ is set to become part of Greentube following a 100% acquisition agreement that will see the supplier enter the Czech Republic’s B2C iGaming market.

The transaction marks Greentube’s expansion into direct-to-consumer iGaming operations in the country, complementing its existing role as a content supplier. The deal remains subject to standard regulatory approvals before completion.

The Czech Republic represents a regulated iGaming market with continued growth, with data from the Ministry of Finance indicating total gross gaming revenue of CZK 68 billion in 2025, equivalent to approximately €2.7 billion. Online iGaming accounted for 59.2% of total GGR, reflecting the increasing share of digital channels within the market.

Kingsbet CZ operates as an online sportsbook and casino platform and will provide Greentube with established infrastructure and local market experience. The acquisition aligns with a broader trend of suppliers moving into B2C iGaming operations as part of diversification strategies in regulated jurisdictions.

Greentube, part of the NOVOMATIC Group, has historically focused on supplying digital gaming content and platform solutions. The addition of Kingsbet CZ is expected to support its position within the Czech iGaming market while enabling closer control over end-user operations.

The move highlights ongoing consolidation within the iGaming sector, where companies continue to expand through acquisitions to strengthen market access and operational capabilities in regulated European markets.

Ronald van den Brink, CCO of Greentube, said: “Entering the Czech market is a natural step in our long-term growth strategy. The Czech Republic stands among the most advanced and well-regulated gaming markets in Europe. By joining forces with Kingsbet, we are gaining a strong local team that will support our expansion.”

David Vaněk, CEO of Kingsbet, added: “We are excited to join the Greentube group. This partnership brings us growth and investment opportunities, and access to advanced technology and globally renowned game studios. It will allow us to deliver an even stronger player experience and continue growing in the Czech Republic.”
