iGaming technology supplier LuckBox Studios has appointed John Maguire as Chief Customer Officer, tasking him with overseeing the development and delivery of the company’s sports trading and prediction market technology.
Maguire joins from FanDuel, where he most recently served as Vice President of Trading Product and General Manager for Australia, with responsibility for trading and pricing systems across a large-scale sportsbook operation. His background includes experience in the design and deployment of trading platforms intended to support high-volume wagering activity and complex pricing models.
At LuckBox Studios, Maguire’s initial remit will centre on advancing the company’s universal sports trading platform, which is being developed around the principle of enabling any bet type to be offered at any time. The platform is positioned by the supplier as a foundation for sportsbook operators and prediction market partners seeking to integrate probability and pricing technology within their igaming and sports betting products.
In his role, Maguire will be responsible for aligning product strategy, technology development and data capabilities, with a focus on translating LuckBox Studios’ platform roadmap into operational delivery. The company stated that this structure is intended to ensure its technology addresses commercial and technical requirements for partners operating in regulated markets.
The appointment follows continued investment by igaming suppliers in senior product and commercial leadership, as competition increases around sports trading, pricing automation and event-based contract infrastructure across both sportsbook and prediction market segments.
