The BLAST Premier YouTube channel has launched “GG Chronicles,” a video series sponsored by GG.BET, focuses on the lives of renowned esports players. This series provides insights into the personal stories of various Tier-1 players, exploring their journeys and backgrounds.
The first season features four episodes:
- The inaugural episode highlights AleksiB, the Finnish in-game leader of NAVI, who led his team to victory at the first-ever CS2 Major in Copenhagen.
- The second episode focuses on his Latvian teammate jL, the MVP of the same tournament.
- The third episode turns to Team Vitality’s mezii, the winner of the last CS Major in Paris.
- The final episode offers a glimpse into the life of FaZe Clan’s frozen, whose team made history by becoming the first international team to win a CS Major in Antwerp in 2022.
“GG Chronicles” aims to showcase the human side of these esports champions, revealing their personal struggles and triumphs. The series highlights that behind every star player is an individual with relatable fears and challenges.
This initiative is part of a year-long partnership between BLAST Premier, known for organizing world-renowned Counter-Strike tournaments, and GG.BET, a betting brand actively supporting the esports industry. The creators plan to release an additional 10 episodes by the end of 2024.
